The Liberty Tree tradition dates back to colonial Boston, where a large American elm served as a gathering place for patriots during the years leading up to the American Revolution. The Walker 4-H Club, in partnership with the Walker Community Betterment Association (WCBA) and NEVC FFA, is working to rehabilitate the existing tennis court at Walker City Park and transform it into multiple pickleball courts.
